Another weather balloon launch
On October 15, 2005 we tried a third time, using the three cameras that didn't make it up on October 1st.
This time we used 300 gram sounding balloons again. We bought them directly from Kaymont the manufacturers. They told us that the meteorological balloons would ascend to 24 km (about 15 miles) and then pop.
This time we also got parachutes so the cameras would fall more slowly. The parachutes also slowed the ascent.

Our first camera, attached to a parachute.

The last balloon slowly rose and headed south.
